This is what happens when you forget to renew your domain name.

There are two parts to a website.  The host, and the registrar for your site.  My site is HOSTED by Ipowerweb.com.  These guys had nothing to do with this problem, and I still back them 100%.   However, my registrar, AllDomains.com failed to contact me (as they should have) to let me know I had to renew my domain name, SpdKilz.com.  Thus, last Thursday I wake up and find my site not working.  I soon found out that my site was in the "Redemption Period" which meant I could still get my site back, but I had to pay a $150 fee in order to do so.  This, as you can probably guess, really got to me.  It costs less than $25 dollars a year to renew it, but if you go into redemption period, you have to pay a $150 dollar fine.  That is ludicrous.  To make matters worse, AllDomains.com was nothing but trouble from the time I filled out the form to renew my site.  They lost my original fax with all my information last Friday, so I had to re-send it Monday.  They do not return e-mails, phone calls, etc.  All in all I am glad to have the site back up and running, however, I am thinking of putting an option for people to donate money, because this put me in the hole for a while.  Enjoy the site, and some video updates coming soon.
